There are only about 300 tickets left for the Canadian Idol shows set for Collingwood this December.
Collingwood's Drew Wright will be joined by Canadian Idol winner Theo Tams and runner-up Mitch McDonald at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena on Dec. 9 and Dec. 10 for a pair of concerts.
The shows will be a part of the cross-Canada tour, which kicks off on Nov. 9 and wraps up on December 22, with shows in seven provinces.
Tickets went on sale on Sept. 10 - after the finalé of the CTV reality series - and sold out in about five hours.
"I gave myself a couple of days to sell out the first show, not a few hours," said Michelle Federer, manager of special events for the Town of Collingwood.
She said the municipality put in a bid to the group organizing the tour and it was accepted.
"We thought since we wanted to get Drew back home, this was one way to do it," she said.
Federer wasn't sure what the response would but says she has received ticket requests from across Simcoe and Grey counties.
Wright got used to singing in front of a crowd at the arena, as he kicked off the Collingwood Blues season on Friday by singing the national anthem.
"I am going to give people the best that I can give each night. I won't hold anything back and I think that's what's moved people so far."
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the shows start at 7 p.m. For tickets, click the link provided, or call 445-7450.
