MuskokaSun.com - Arpin tribute concert postponed until spring

A Nov. 8 concert paying tribute to famed Port McNicoll pianist John Arpin has been postponed until spring.

Organizers explained the decision to postpone was due to scheduling conflicts with some of the guest performers.

Arpin, who died in November 2007, was known as a “giant of the keyboard.” He gained respect as one of the top ragtime musicians in the world.

No date has been set for the rescheduled concert.
